Description:
It is a strategic pass for the Grana and Maira Valleys, also close to Colle Fauniera from which one can descend to Valle Stura.
Very used in past centuries for trade exchanges in the area, now in summer it can be reached by car from Castelmagno or Marmora but in winter it is kept closed due to the constant avalanche danger especially on the Grana side from which I ascended.
