Description:
The Schaalseekanal connects Lake Schaalsee with Lake Ratzeburg. On a section, the canal is walkable on both sides along the dam crown. Although it is a canal, a diverse plant world shows itself on the shore and invites you to stroll. Canoeists and paddlers also like to use the section for outings and can be observed (occasionally some small talk is possible).
