Description:
Our tour to the 3076m high Großer Hafner with the ascent variant over the Rotgüldenseen was more demanding than the usual one via Kattowitzer Hütte, but incredibly scenic. The many unplanned photo stops were sometimes the reason we didn't quite reach the targeted 10h for the tour with 17km and 1850Hm. After about 12h, everyone could safely refresh at Rotgüldensee Hütte and then do the last half hour to the car.
