The Große Hundstod, sometimes simply Hundstod, with its height of 2594[1][2] or 2593 meters[3][4] is one of the main summits of the Steinernes Meer in the Berchtesgaden Alps, and lies on the border of the German state of Bavaria and the Austrian state of Salzburg.
