Description:
High tour to Großglockner (3798 m), the highest mountain in Austria, it started on Friday, September 13th around 8 a.m. at the parking lot at Lucknerhaus, I first climbed to Stüdlhütte which took about 2 hours, at Stüdlhütte I met my other colleagues and our mountain guide Paul. From Stüdlhütte it went over Ködnitzkees to Adlersruhe, from there over Glocknerleitl to the summit of Großglockner. The descent to Adlersruhe was the same as the ascent, we overnighted at Adlersruhe and descended only the next day. The weather on this tour was simply breathtaking!
