Ascent to Austria's highest summit
We join the SAT Rovereto expedition, start from the parking lot at the end of the road from Kals.
Obvious trail to Lucknerhütte, then always well marked to Rif. Studlhütte (2801m), from here after a short break continue to the start of Kodnitzkees glacier which holds no particular dangers. Past the glacier reach a well-equipped rocky ridge and following the trail arrive at Rif. Erzhzg Johann Hutte where we will overnight.
