After long weeks of rain, finally the forecast of some sun sees us ready to tackle a route (for now still below the snow line), on the left (sunniest) hydrographic slope of Val Varaita, with a program that includes departure from Melle, ascent to San Bernardo delle Sottole and Guglia del Nivo, and subsequent descent to the Madonna della Betulla sanctuary to close the loop not far from the Sant'Anna chapel.
