Gýmeš is a castle ruin on the steep conglomerate hill Dúň (514 m a.s.l.) on the southern slope of the Tribeč mountains, about 5 km north of the village Jelen. The ruin is a prominent feature of the wide area. Gýmeš is one of the ancestral castles of the noble Forgách family.
