it's special
but today while climbing I only remembered this:
it was my first (and for a while the only) real mountain hike as a boy, memories flutter like Nepalese flags confirming only the place, it was a CAI trip, the roped party on the snowfield crest that's no longer there, fatigue never felt before, sore feet (so much so to return home barefoot)
