Highlight in Rosengarten | Rotwand 2806m

On the last day of our autumn holidays in the Dolomites, we went over 1000m up to Rotwand, so far we always had top weather, but this afternoon/evening the announced change is supposed to come, we wanted to use that for sure. Yesterday's tour in Rosengarten to Santnerpass was already a highlight, I know Rotwand because I was up there years ago, back then via the Masare via ferrata, but today the weather didn't allow it, so we went directly from the parking lot up to Vajolonpass and from there the easy route A/B up to the summit of Rotwand 2806m, all around you could already see the weather approaching, so our stay at the summit was only 5 minutes where the wind blew so unbearably that we descended immediately, that was right because it started drizzling. The descent went well, at the pass it almost blew us away but as soon as we went a bit downhill again it was okay. The rest of the way went well and so we were quickly back at the car below. We have successfully completed the tour with the most elevation gain and can look back on an incredibly great week here in the Dolomites.
