Even though Monte Misone is not very well-known, it's really worth reaching the summit to enjoy a fabulous panorama.
This hike, starting from the parking lot near Rifugio San Pietro, will take you to the summit of Monte Misone from where you can admire Lake Tenno, Lake Garda, Lake Molveno, the Monte Baldo mountain chain, the Alpi di Ledro-Gavardina group, the peaks of the Presanella group and the southern part of the Brenta group. Trekking is possible all year round. In winter it's an excellent destination for snowshoeing.
