Description:
The Gonzen had caught my eye many times before, every time I passed Sargans by train, this mountain with its mighty rock face facing the town stood out. So it finally came to this tour, where my neighbor Linus and I started near Sargans Castle. We chose the route via Leiterweg, past the Gonzen mountain inn and then to the summit. Afterwards, we hiked to the Palfris cable car station and took the cable car down.
