Description:
Passing the ice rink on the left, the hike begins and leads over 'Kalbesnacken' to the Stryck district. Past Mühlenkopfschanze, it goes slightly uphill through the valley before the ascent increases along the 'Alter Hagen' nature reserve. At 'Hildfelder Höhe' you meet Uplandsteig and Rothaarsteig again, following them towards 'Lütteke Feld'. On the ridge height, the path leads to Große Grube and then over Ettelsberg, past Hochheideturm and Einkehrhütte, and left around through heathlands down the Ettelsberg ski slope. Down at Gasthof Wilddieb and wildlife enclosure past and back to the starting point Visitor Center.
