Description:
The video shows the crossing of Hochkalter in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The tour was undertaken from Blaueishütte at the beginning of August 2020. First via the beautiful Fleck in good 3 hours up to the summit. There are two difficult climbing sections (up to II+) to overcome. The views from the ridge and the further small climbing sections make the ascent very varied. The descent was via Ofental in good 3.5 hours down to Hintersee. This is highly recommended, as otherwise the second climbing section would have to be descended, which is not entirely easy.
