Description:
The Hohlur Cave is located about 3 km west-southwest of Steinhof near Berndorf in Lower Austria. From Vienna South Motorway, exit at Leobersdorf to Berndorf, then in the Veitsau district half-right to Steinhof. At the end of Steinhof, I took the unmarked forest path behind the houses between the hiking trail and the dolomite quarry into the forest, because the regular hiking trail was closed due to forestry work (a common occurrence in Lower Austria).
