Located in the Huaylas alley, in the Ancash region, Parón is the largest lagoon of the Cordillera Blanca, in addition to being an important reservoir of fresh water and the most beautiful originated by glaciers. Parón is about a hundred meters from the city of Huaraz, at an altitude of 4,185 meters above sea level. It has an average depth of 76 meters.
