I Sirboni Aquatic Canyoning Frascaghju, Corsica

Description:
The Frascaghju stream flows through the territorial forest of Valdu Niellu, near a section of the famous GR 20 trail and the equally famous Lago di Nino, not far from Corsica's highest peak, Monte Cinto, and collects waters from the peaks of Capu di u Facciatu and Bocca di Frame ensuring a fun flow until late summer. Unfortunately on this occasion the sky was cloudy and the pool colors did not stand out, but the very short approach and a descent far from being demanding, preceded by a very short approach and exit directly to the cars, make it an always appealing stream. This canyon is also suitable for those approaching this discipline for the first time, and allows spending a cool half summer day. The highest rappel is 12 m. The state of the anchors is poor. Along the descent it is difficult to meet other canyoners. The approach is on pleasant paths immersed in a spectacular Laricio pine forest reaching up to 40 m in height.
