I Sirboni: Aquatic Rio Accu 'e S'Alinu, Gennargentu

The Accu 'e S'Alinu Canyoning winds through the heart of Gennargentu, characterized by a pleasant sequence of two close 30 and 40 m verticals, distinguished by a spectacular 15-meter toboggan to slide safely. Another feature is the emerald green color of the numerous water pools created by the stream along its course. Last time we did the right branch (the one marked on the map as Accu 'e S'Alinu), while this time the left one, certainly much more interesting. After the confluence of the two branches the water flow doubles, and consequently the fun... The stream ends in a section of the Flumendosa River rich in natural pools that invite bathing, possible here even without a wetsuit. For the return this time we found a small road that starts right near the banks of the Flumendosa. To reach it, follow the bed downstream to completely bypass the rocky shoulder in front (about half an hour).
