The Rio Coxinas originates near the Punte di San Miali on the mountains above the town of Villacidro and gives us one of the aesthetically most beautiful aquatic routes among the Sardinian ones.

The watercourse with a marked torrential character has a very irregular flow with alternation of excessive water flows immediately after rains or excessive droughts shortly after.
