Description: Caprera Island stands out with P.ta Teialone at 212 m where there is a watchtower and it is the second largest island in the Maddalena archipelago; connected to the mother island by a bridge, it has been declared a nature reserve and is protected by an absolute building ban. Important both for its wonderful beaches and for the renowned sailing center, Caprera is undoubtedly a destination for many tourists also because of Garibaldi's museum. Here, in fact, the hero of the two worlds spent the last years of his existence, and on the island remain traces of his presence: his house, his boats and his personal objects, which have become relics of one of the most famous and visited museums in the world.
