This spectacular technical route takes place between the towns of Padru and San Teodoro on the north side of the Monte Nieddu mountain complex, starting near the Biasì hamlet from the Agriturismo Casteddu (from which authorization must strictly be requested to pass through its property). The itinerary was designed and realized by Massimo Putzu in collaboration with Francesco Angioni, two experts and veterans of Sardinian hiking, to whom I extend my compliments. Compliments because the route, not easy to realize, breaks the schemes and arises from the intuition of being able to do a rope rappel inside a large hole. Moreover, everything takes place in an intact and wild environment where rock and vegetation vie for every space. The descent offers beautiful but also new emotions. The passage inside the huge hole with the descent downwards is very fun and evocative. On three occasions, one lands on small terraces equipped with chains that accommodate a maximum of 5 people ....if in good line...
