In the last video you learned how to identify a Black Willow tree. In this video you will learn how knowing the name of a plant can easily lead you to finding and identifying insects associated with that particular plant. Many plants have particular insects that feed on their leaves, sap or nectar from flowers. In this video, Imported Black Willow Leaf Beetles ({Plagiodera veriscolora) are identified in their adult and larval stages. How adults and larva feed on leaves is described. Different feeding patterns on leaves is shown as well. Viewers are encouraged to learn plant identification to learn to find and identify associated insect species.
