Description: In the first part of our Schlammloch exploration, we show the upper or older part of Schlammloch on the Swabian Alb. Schlammloch is a Bröller cave, which means that after prolonged rainfalls a cave stream flows out of the entrance, the cave 'roars'. Then large parts of the cave are completely underwater and exploration is no longer possible, so the cave should only be traversed under secured weather conditions anyway! However, the upper, old part of the cave is largely dry under normal conditions and can be traversed without major difficulties. Nevertheless, the first 50 meters must be crawled through several water pools!!, which is why traversing without a neoprene suit is strongly discouraged! In the rear course, the cave becomes increasingly narrow and the last 50m can only be managed exclusively crawling.
