On his travels, reporter Patrick Wira visits various European countries – today he is on the French night train. The legendary sleeper train carried travelers through France to the Mediterranean for almost a century. In 2017, the French railway company discontinued it as unprofitable. As part of a French government initiative to revive night train services, it has been back on the tracks since 2021.
