Description:
This time, Michelin-starred chef Björn Freitag heads to Austria. More precisely: to Innsbruck. Ski area and summer hiking paradise, gateway to Italy and culinary stronghold. Around the Golden Roof, Anna Column, and Triumphal Arch, Björn finds the tastiest dishes and culinary hotspots. Travel blogger Lea Hajner takes him to the nooks and crannies of Innsbruck - including tasting typical treats. Inextricably linked to Innsbruck's food culture is the market hall, of course. Here Björn tastes through the market stalls with regional ingredients, which he processes together with top chef Anjo Pegel. Whether travel blogger, restaurant owner, farmer, baker, "startup" – they all show down-to-earth and the finest specialties. But what's the final verdict? Is Innsbruck worth a culinary trip?
