A great via ferrata classic on the west side of Dachstein - the highlight is a 40-meter giant ladder across a deep gorge. In four very different stages, you climb the Intersport Via Ferrata to the Großer Donnerkogel. This iron path is one of the most controversial via ferrata projects in Austria. The via ferrata was built over an existing climbing route by Paul Preuß. Overall, it offers an appealing - and with the giant ladder extremely exposed - via ferrata adventure with fantastic Dachstein views.
