Description: Jôf di Montasio (2753 m) is the third highest mountain in Friuli-Venezia Giulia after Coglians and Creta delle Chianevate and is the highest of the Italian Julian Alps (second in the entire alpine section after Monte Tricorno in Slovenia). The Findenegg route is the most interesting and least frequented to climb Montasio from the Piani.
