Description: More than 3 weeks had passed since we were last in the mountains and we were already feeling a slight nervousness.⛰ Finally we caught some free time and headed to Slovenia. The weather forecast played with us for a few days, but the situation improved and we decided to climb Prisojnik, or at least try. We started from the Postman's Hut on Vršič, and the morning was like from a fairy tale. Sun, fog, snow, hoarfrost and sub-zero temperatures. Perfect!❄️ Although some snow had fallen around the peaks the day before, we didn't know the exact situation, but we went to try. It turned out that the ascent is not possible without winter gear and we reached 2350m above sea level and there we decided to end our ascent because it would be too risky without crampons and ice axe, especially on the descent. The fact that we didn't reach the summit as planned doesn't diminish at all the beauty we experienced along the way and the sunset with which we ended this wonderful day in the Julian Alps.
