Description:
Start parking Gepatschhaus around 9:00 at about 1900m.
Up the stream and then in wide hairpin turns towards Ölgrubenjoch.
In the morning first foggy and shady. Soon exposed to the sun. After overcoming the first slope stage, follow the moraine of the former glacier past two kar lakes in ca. 3hrs to Ölgrubenjoch at ca. 3150m. From there first good view to Wildspitze over Taschachferner.
