Description:
Wonderfully preserved and renovated castle ruin.
The complex was built in the 12th century on a rock spur at 839 meters above sea level and measures about 30 by 40 meters. Particularly noteworthy is the about 15 meters high and excellently renovated bergfried, which serves as a lookout tower and offers a grandiose view into the Gailtal.
