Description:
A walk through the ruins of the former Cistercian monastery Walkenried, one of the most significant medieval monasteries in Germany.

Besides the ruins of the once huge monastery church, there is an exhibition in the preserved part of the monastery (Gothic cloister building), and the chapter hall today serves as the Protestant church of the Walkenried community.
