Description:
The Huayllay National Sanctuary and the Huayllay Stone Forest were distinguished nationally as one of the Seven Wonders of Peru in contests organized by the newspaper El Comercio and the telecommunications company Panamericana Televisión. In this way, Huayllay has received visits from foreign tourists so far. The Huayllay Stone Forest is located in the Huayllay District, Pasco Province and Department, Peru. It is protected by the establishment of the Huayllay National Sanctuary. It constitutes an Andean natural wonder at 4,310 meters above sea level.
