The Latin America qualifying series for the 2016 Petzl RopeTrip took place in Piracicaba, SP, Brazil, from August 15-16, 2015. A total of 63 athletes from 11 countries made the trip to participate in this individual and team high level rope access and rescue challenge. In every category, participants demonstrated the breadth of their knowledge and technical skills. A warm and friendly atmosphere reigned among spectators and participants at this multicultural and multilingual event. When the competition came to a close, Russia, Brazil, and Columbia were standing on the podium. Overall, the event proved a great success and participants really enjoyed being able to share their experience and techniques with each other.
