The Freispitze is certainly one of the most prominent and difficult-to-access high peaks of the Lechtal Alps. The completely pathless ascent and descent shown here via Nederrücken from Alperschontal is referred to as the normal route by locals and follows the tracks of first ascenders Frey and Klotz.
