Description:
From Gramais by MTB about 2 km down the valley to a bench. On foot further to Branntweinboden. There steeply westwards up the path towards Hanauerhütte.
At about 1900 m turn right towards Württemberger Haus to Bittrichsee at over 2200 m. Past the lake on the right into Bittrich. Leaving Bitterscharte on the left, continue up the cirque to the end of the valley. Route is marked but pathless. In the valley end right increasingly steeply up to Leiterscharte between Große and Kleine Leiterspitze. There following the marks in nice grade 1 climbing in 15 minutes to the summit.
