Description:
Start at the parking lot in Bach at about 1100 m. With MTB mostly flat 5 km into the Madautal to the junction into the Alperschontal at the Eckhöfen at about 1200 m.
Over several steep sections (pushing) now 500 m up on a gravel path 6 km through forest to the Alperschonalpe. Often you can also ride without overexerting yourself. At the alp do not cross the Alperschonbach, but follow left of it on worn, ankle-deep, muddy cow paths along the stream to the Klämmle (ca. 15 min). There over the bridge to the right the path becomes more pleasant and leads slightly above the stream into the upper valley basin. After switching back to the left bank, you cross a lush green valley floor. On the left the slopes of the Freispitzgruppe rise, on the right those of the Fallenbachergruppe steeply upwards.
