Vordernberger Griesmauer is part of the Griesmauer massif in the Hochschwab range in Austria. It consists of three peaks: Griesmauerkogel (2034 m a.s.l., unmarked), Vordernberger Griesmauer (2015 m a.s.l.) and TAC Spitze (2019 m) with via ferrata. Nearby is Leobner Mauer. Originally we wanted to go to Hochturm too, but weather crossed our plans. On the way back we stopped at Ötschergräben. It's also called the Austrian Grand Canyon. We camped by Erlaufsee lake. Despite 827 m a.s.l., the water was great for swimming and nice grassy beach.
