Description:
Wonderfully renovated and restored castle ruins near the market town of Gramastetten. As can be seen from the website https://burg-lichtenhag.at/, the former small castle complex was left to decay until 2016, and only from 2017 did the "Verein zur Erhaltung der Burgruine Lichtenhag" founded to save the ruins begin extensive restoration work. Thus, the castle built in the mid-15th century now presents itself to visitors as a true medieval jewel.
