Beneath the La Viuda mountain range at 4,800 msnm, lies Canta, one of the best tourist spots north of the city of Lima. This part of the Lima sierra, in addition to having pleasant weather, features natural landscapes little known to tourism, including Laguna de Calancayo, known for its colors varying between turquoise, green, and blue, and Laguna de Chuchón, a destination full of incredible nature and various archaeological remains. Its diverse green areas make Canta one of the perfect places to camp.
