From Zaunhof in Pitztal by bike or on foot (both quite steep) to Ludwigsburger Hütte. Then one ascends to Hoher Gemeindekopf, while the other goes to Lehnerjoch (transition from Ötztal to Pitztal) and further to Schafhimmel. Surrounded by attractive giants like Watze and Fundusfeiler and the greats in the background, a enjoyable stop at Ludwigsburger Hütte follows.
