We paddle along the Lungomare, the twelve-kilometer promenade of Franjo Josip, one of the most beautiful places for morning running by the sea. We chose kayak anyway because from the sea you best see the architecture of the Opatija riviera, beautiful villas built during Austria-Hungary and later Italy. Further towards Rijeka, above Opatija is the famous Kastav forest which we plan to visit soon but we will surely return to Opatija, run by the sea. We always feel good here and Mishka is well received which is very important to me.
