The Lys is a fabulous glacier 'stretched' in the heart of Monte Rosa.
It is very vast and long, extending from about 4250 m to 2600 m.
It is a very frequented place because it is at the center of many mountaineering destinations such as Rifugio Gnifetti, Piramide Vincent, Punta Parrot, Rifugio Regina Margherita etc.
