After the great cold of the last days, the Compagnia dell'Anello chose a low-altitude route, on a sunny slope, in Val Varaita to reach the Madonna della Neve chapel starting from Foresto, in the municipality of Sampeyre. It is a nice tour, doable in all seasons, rich in landscape and cultural insights due to the numerous religious testimonies expressed by votive pillars. If there is snow, it is feasible with snowshoes (we didn't need them: but we used crampons for the descent). Recommended clockwise.
