Description:
Sitno, with an elevation of 1009 meters, is the highest peak of the Štiavnica Mountains. In its summit area, there are several massive andesite rocks forming one of the most famous climbing areas in Slovakia. From the summit itself, perfect views of the surroundings open from numerous viewpoints, and with good visibility as far as Hungary. The trail to Sitno is particularly attractive especially in the autumn months and can be completed on foot or by bike.
