Description:
Very interesting itinerary based at the Linza Refuge. It is a circular route that through Paso del Caballo accesses a beautiful beech forest, then we ascend through meadows and wide mountain spaces, where little by little we gain height until positioning ourselves at Collada del Huerto de Acherito; before us is the final slope to the summit, despite its imposing appearance, a very well traced path allows us to ascend with certain comfort to the summit itself. For the descent, once again at the base of the summit slope, we will head north to pass through Foya del Ingeniero, a more entertaining but well signposted path. We will constantly lose height, after crossing a large scree we end up descending to the bottom of the valley. Further on we leave the meadows and enter again into another beautiful beech forest that we do not leave until reaching the refuge. All paths are very well signposted, either with cairns or paint.
