Description: The Mangart (or Mangrt), with its 2,679 meters a.s.l., is the third highest peak in Slovenia after Triglav and Škrlatica and is part of the Julian Alps. It is located on the border between Slovenia and Italy, overlooking the Fusine Lakes from the Italian side and the Bovec plain (Plezzo) from the Slovenian side.
