Even from Munich, Wendelstein is visible from afar due to its exposed location.
Starting from the valley station of the Wendelstein cable car, we ascended to the Wendelstein alms. There we chose the route over Zeller Scharte and from there through the basin to Wendelsteinhaus, where some snow fields still had to be crossed.
