During the Red Bull X-Alps it can happen that you land somewhere high in the mountains or in a place where it’s hard to find your supporter. Then you need to organize yourself for a bivy and sleep there. According to our athlete Markus Anders the coolest part of vol-biv is the unknown factor: 'You can plan the day, but not where it will end. Vol-biv is the true synthesis of adventure flying.'
