Description:
The regular route to Punta Penia in Marmolada is a historic climb in the Dolomites. Today it is a short glacier tour, about 3 hours to climb the peak, not particularly difficult. The first part is on the lower Penia Glacier, then we climb about 150 m of easy rocks on the via ferrata, and the last part is the ridge on the upper glacier. On the top is placed a characteristic little refuge.
