Start from the parking lot of the Alba di Canazei lifts (1517 m), ascent through Val Contrin to the start of the West Ridge via ferrata up to Punta Penia (3343 m), the highest peak of Marmolada. Positive elevation gain 1816 meters. About 20 km. Ascent time: 6 hours and 10 minutes. Return via the same route.
